OLD BUSINESS
PROPERTY STATUS
Lot #15 (Wilson) is scheduled to close on July 18, 2011.
Lot #17 (Mahler) has given Alex Mahler permission to temporarily store some misc. fixtures on the lot.
Lots #20 and #20A Ron made a call to the owners’ family on Friday, but did not receive an answer.
Roger McClain suggested that we consider targeting Lot #19 in order to keep the properties owned consecutive.
BY-LAWS
An email notice was sent out to the general membership on June 27, 2011, with attachments of the present February 12, 2005, By-Laws and the proposed June 11, 2011, By-Laws to act on the revision of the By-Laws at the July 9 meeting. A motion was made by Wes, seconded by Roger, and the vote was unanimous to accept the proposed June 11, 2011, By-Laws to be effective January 1, 2012. The executive board will determine new membership dues to be implemented, and a membership letter to accompany this change.
Ron reported that the gun show held in Springdale on July 2 and 3 was successful in promoting awareness of the Fayetteville National Cemetery, describing the RNCIC’s purpose, distributing brochures, and raising $260 in miscellaneous donations. Ron has sent a Thank You note to the show promoters, and stated the RNCIC would be interested in manning a table again at future shows.
Ron and Aubrey attended the Fayetteville Planning Commission meeting on June 27 regarding the change of zoning of the sale barn property to Community Services. The vote passed and will now go to the City Council.
